I'll try to narrow it down to 3 actors from; The Dinosaurs, The Seniors, The Juniors & The Freshmen era's.

Dinosaurs;

Marlon Brando.
Humphrey Bogart.
Edward G Robinson.

Seniors;

Clint Eastwood.
Steve McQueen.
Paul Newman.

Juniors;

Liam Neeson
Robert Downey Jr. really kicked a$$ as 'Sherlock Holmes' i.m.v.h.o.
Mel Gibson (Get the Gringo, Mad Max, Lethal Weapon.)

Freshmen;

Sam Worthington (Clash & Wrath of the Titans)
