Citing numerous fire and safety code violations that the owner has dismissed as “baseless,” City Attorneys of McKinney, Texas, seem to be 'very' determined to shut down the very popular "Hank’s Texas Grill".
Included in the 70+ violations that are being leveled against the restaurant's owner are; state flags hung as decoration and “faded parking lot striping.”
Faded parking lines? Seriously??
Property Owner Ron Reynolds believes that city officials are making up reasons to shut down his honkytonk because of it's prime location in this fast growing city and the city is even using overly aggressive police presence to do it,” CBS DFW reports.
Considering how long the battle between the restaurant and city authorities has been going on, Reynolds may actually have a point.

Why Is the City of McKinney Trying to shut Down Hank

"Land of the Free" my a$$! Apparently it's only 'free' to those who can afford to grease the palms of corrupt gubbament officials imho.

This is how they get around eminent domain (good bye 5th amendment)....I've seen it before when they label someone's land a "marsh" and its unusable...that is until the owner sells it for way below what is worth, and then the state picks it up and..oh look at that it's okay to build on it now...let's just build the brand new public utility department there...

Doesn't surprise me it's happening in Texas, the more I hear about Texas the more I don't like it... but it wouldn't surprise me if this was happening in any state at this point, as my story comes from Oregon...the same state that claims they own rain water...

I could not agree with you more.
This whole story really pi$$es me off as a law abiding, tax paying citizen of these so called 'United States'.
To think that our very own sworn 'government employees' can decide at anytime they feel like it to browbeat and intimidate it's own citizens into submission is truly Marxism at best imho.
