Fairchilds Cinema's Pasco, WA

OC for Tactical Advantage
Went in yesterday 7/24/2012 at 9:55pm to watch TED with my wife while carrying my Jericho 941. Employee asked if I had a permit for my firearm, which I replied I did not need one. After purchasing the tickets, the employee stated the owner of the cinemas felt that if more people had been carrying in CO it would have had a better ending than what actually happened. Before this positive experience, I have never had an employee question or look at me funny at that cinemas.

Two thumbs up for Fairchilds Cinemas in Pasco WA off Rd 68.

Why would you not need a carry permit to carry concealed? If you are carrying concealed, then being properly concealed as it should be, how did the employee know you were carrying?

Yeah, the wife and i went to Fairchild to see the Dark knight last week and they were checking purses. The wife was really paranoid and made sure i was carrying.

Good to hear about another good OC experience:cool:

Oh and to the reply above, he OC's so thats how the worker knew.

I open carry. You are right though, if I did carry concealed I would need a permit, and he would not have known.

I had a friend tell me to stop open carrying for a while because of CO shooting, and that it would be a bad idea to OC at the cinemas so soon...I had a nice long talk with him about the 2A. After I shared my experience with him, he said he will now only go to the fairchilds cinemas.

They did ask to look into my wife's bag due to the CO shooting..but he didn't even look into the bag since he was talking with me. It does bother me that they are smart enough to realize that an armed good guy is a good thing for their theaters, but then they turn around and do something dumb like check someone's purse (like that will stop anything). It is really dumb that they had her open her purse even after seeing I was armed...what else could we have hidden in her bag? Despite that...when it comes to the 2A and being allowed to carry OC or CC, Fairchilds still gets my two thumbs up.

SHH I don't want them to check my wife's purse, that's where we keep our quiznos subs and bottled drinks, there is no room left in the purse to smuggle in anything else

One theater in Nampa, Idaho welcomes open and concealed carry. Northern Lights Cinemas. Also serves burgers, nachos, pizza, beer and wine!
