Just picked up my Sig 228 .380 black w/ night sights & she is sweet. Will put it to the test at the range this Saturday.

Let us know how it fires. I have a friend who is thinking about one of these.

NCIC105 I definitely will... gun feels great So far I really like the ergonomics as well as the sights , seems to have a good balance , firing review to follow

Very interested also. Waiting to pick mine up. Same one, black with rosewood grips. Unfortunatly we have to wait till it is put on our ccw by the judge. He is on vacation this week.. Flame away.

Very nice gun, although the trigger takes a bit to get used to as it pivots instead of traveling straight back. Very good shooter and very contolable for its size. Have fun and enjoy!

I think I feel the same excitement.........the new Sig excitement! I just picked up my P226 TACOPS I cannot wait to get that thing hot! Too bad we don't live nearby we could light 'em up together! Good Shooting Buddy, and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Two reasons why I went with this one ... Too many bad reviews on a few others , price was a bit more ha ha

Ok I put 60 rounds of some target ammo & an additional 12 rounds of better self defense rounds down range this afternoon. I had 3" groups at 5-7 yards and 4" groups at 8-10 yds. The jacket hollow points produced better groups than the FMJ ammo (slightly). This gun had no noticeable recoil that a lot of folks complain about with the pocket guns. It was a joy to shoot, even though I took other handguns I could have shot this one the whole time, I know this would not be your typical range / target pistol but if it was your only one to take you wouldn't be disappointed. I had two friends and my two sons with me they all shot it and all hit a 6" instant feed back targets at both distances mentioned above, I say this so that you would know it is a pretty accurate gun right out of the box . Trigger pull was the biggest thing to get used to but negligible after a few magazines had been used. Both my buddies were looking for a small concealable handgun and both will be getting this same one, by the way they both own .380 's now so that should tell ya something as well. I know there are a lot of good pistol mfgs. Out there and many good .380's but if your looking at getting the P238 and you have the dough I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Outstanding choice of pistol. I confidently predict you are going to love it. I have my wife's in my right front pocket in a Desantis Nemessis holster as I type this.

I like it the best of all the tiny .380s. I also have an LCP, and it isn't going anyplace, but I shoot the P238 so much better the difference is remarkable.
