Actually, I keep my purse at least half unzipped... That way I keep my keys quickly accessible and I'm not standing in the parking lot with my head down searching for them. Granted, I'm also paranoid about someone stealing my phone and try to keep a hand on it all the time... I really, really want one of these: Warrior Creek Inc It would make things so easy! And purse carry much more practical. If only I had $245 lying around... Maybe I can convince my husband I need it for Christmas? :no: :laugh:

Oh wow, was I totally unclear! Sorry!!

The purse I leave partly unzipped is NOT a CC purse (and you'd have to see it in order to understand why I'm ok with it being somewhat unzipped), I use an IWB holster. And I have two CC purses now... I just want the totally awesome $245 one.

Note how long this cockroach roams around pulling the trigger while pointing at innocent children and adults... Had there been just one ARMED CITIZEN (whether legally or illegally) in that restaurant, we would not be reading about this... simply because the media will hide anything which shows that ARMED CITIZENS and GUNS are crime deterrents... and hopefully, save taxpayer money when some cockroach is shot dead!

What will it take people??

This sort of criminal activity happens every single day in our country... and as usual, the typical cockroach is involved... yet no one makes any noise about it... business as usual... Crooks get to pass "GO" without any resistance from those who pay for the game... "JAIL" is a temporary condition... death is permanent.

Go out and get a gun, you don’t need a permit to keep one at home. Practice with your gun, know its limitations, as well as yours, and be a part of the solution...not just one of the prey!

Please note the Constitution outlaws the government from making any laws that restrict any law-abiding US citizen from having and carrying any type of firearm full auto or not, the fact is we live in a country where the government is mostly illegal according to its own rules of governing.

You are priceless. Watch the TV show COPS. ALL cops responding to a call (not traffic stops and chases) know NOTHING! They spend their time after they show up (usually after the fact) trying to find out what happened so they can hopefully catch the bad guy.

1. Cops are also civilians.
2. You suggest imposing training of a type and length you approve of as an INFRINGEMENT on my right to bear arms?
3. You assume cops will inherently make better decisions than anyone else that is armed?

I believe that everyone who is of sound mind, legally capable, and a fairly accurate and consistent shot should carry. I would prefer to open carry to deter even further anyone who might want to take advantage of a situation or cause trouble, but unfortunately in Florida that is not possible so I conceal carry everywhere.

I can count on my fingers the number of guys I know who can REALLY handle a lethal situation, and I moved in IPSC heavy duty circles for many years. A good 20% of our population can't get liquid out of a boot if you tell them that the instructions are on the bottom of the heel.

The problem with this line of thinking is that it still opens the door for more & more strict regulation depending on who is making the decisions about competency. I used to think like this. But, I now have grown much wiser & knowledgeable about the dangers of such thinking.

IMHO, If you are free to walk the streets and interact with society you should be free to carry any firearm you choose (anyway you choose) without restriction.

Actually, the original Constitution was a list of authorities granted to the government by the people. The amendments attached later to the original Constitution is the failed list of limitations of our failed government. It is true, however, that neither the original Constitution nor the amendments grant rights - rights preexist governments.

I always looked at the Constitution as a list of "restrictions" placed on the government by the people who were the ones in authority.

I know it may be semantics. But, I do think it's important for us to understand that it is the "People" who are supposed to be the ones in authority and the Constitution is the "Legal" document that is supposed to insure that is always the case.

IMHO; any amendment that takes the authority away from the "People" & grants more power to the government than the original document "intended" should be considered UN-constitutional.
