Intro: I'm Zac, from WNY area moved all over God's green earth, and now i'm back in B-lo. Had my CT resident which is about to expire (5yrs) here in May. I should have surrendered it when i left, but just got rid of my handgun (G19) and got a M590A1 for "home use"
Now I'm finally looking to get into the application process for Erie county. Done plenty of reading and plenty of research on the topic so not many noob questions as the 18 page thread covers just about everything.
My question involves a letter from my "employer" requesting permission to carry. My friend filed a DBA for me under his LLC and I work under his shop roof and insurance umbrella on exotic cars. I handle large sums of money for deposit for his business as i help him out quite a bit and move around a lot of high end cars. Does anyone have any suggestions for dos and don'ts of writing a letter asking for a full carry permit vs. a work hours permit? I move cars at all hours of the day and all days of the week, pick up from work and homes of customers and regularly have one of their vehicles at my place of residence.
Thanks everyone for any advice you can offer on the subject. And feel free to call me a noob if i missed it while searching b/c it's very possible, just point and laugh and please include a link.
Take care
-Zac
