Eotech HHS-2 or Trijicon SRS

So I have $1000 to spend on a nice sight for my newly acquired Sig 716. As of right now I'm leaning a bit more towards the Eotech for the 3x magnification ability but they both are so awesome. Wish I could get both but that's not an option. What would you guys prefer?

I know it's not one of your options, but why not a Trijicon accupoint? I just put a 3-9x40 on an ar-15, and it is incredible. Got it from opticsplanet for just under $1000 with rings.

I have the 512 on my custom M-4 it is one heck of a halo sight!

Bigjim, thanks for the suggestion, looks like a very nice scope. Unfortunately we can't have the best of both worlds so we have to deal with things like eotech and it's slide over magnifier. I guess I'm gonna go with the eotech for that specific reason.
