Embarrassing email

I don't know if any of you are as lazy/dumb as me, and if you're not, disregard -
but if you do try to use the NRA's mass email service to contact all your elected officials at once, make sure you know where they all stand.
I just insulted a representative of mine with the same email I intended for my idiot governor, and the rep answered me with, " uh...shouldn't you ask me where I stand before you start yelling at me...?"
I didn't see his name on the email recipient list...:redface:

That did actually occur to me after I sent him my apology - I thought to myself, this yo-yo is gonna do what he wants anyway. We'll see...

You should not "yell" at your representatives. Just asking them to support your Constitutional given rights does not require that. Be courteous. State your case, thank them for their time.

I have no idea of how many I've sent so far but I have NOT received one single response. In the past when I have sent out emails I usually receive responses from at least a majority. My feeling is they do not want to say anything. sucks!

Write back, apologize and forget it. I remember getting spankings from my mother and was totally innocent. (Couple of times, anyway) and when I proclaimed my innocence her reply was to the effect of, "Well, if that's the case, I'm sorry, but I'm sure you deserved it for things you didn't get caught at." She was right, of course.

Yeah, I did too. Chuck, with his own CCW, won't budge, won't listen to anybody, and little ole Kirsten, the former honey of my beloved NRA, a total turncoat. It's like Chuck is a Borg, and Kirsten got "assimilated" when she got too close to him.

I have sent out dozens, literally dozens, of emails and made quite a few phone calls to my elected reps, the Speaker of the House, the Senate majority leader, my Governor, and a whole host of reps that are not my direct reps- and same as you, not one return yet.

My guess- they are absolutely swamped with angry law-abiding gun-owners who sick and tired of being punished every time some wack-job steps off the crazy wagon and commits a heinous act. I know for damn sure that I am!

Yep, she was a let down, to say the least. She wanted to be a US senator, and he read her his rules. She bought it.
