El Paso Zoo

So I'm going to be taking the in-laws back to the air port tomorrow and my wife wants to go to the zoo (late start on research I know). Their web site says "Smoking, alcohol, drugs and weapons are strictly prohibited." SO... what weapons are they talking about? More over, does anyone know if they have what is necessary to legally keep me from protecting my family while there. I really hate giving my money to places that make me a fish in a barrel when there are some many other places out there that I can support that also support me. But the wife said what she wants and it's for the kids. So I guess we're going either way. I heads up will be good though.
