Ear and Eye protection for newbie... is budget one good?

Mystery

I'm looking into ear and eye protection.
Wally mart has Champion ballistic glasses for less than $10.

Harbor freight has electronic ear muffs for $15 rated at 24 NRR.
I'll use EAR foam plugs (29 NRR) under them when I go to indoor range.

Will that work?

Or should I invest on something like below?
Howard leight impact are $50 but only 22 NRR and same with Peltor 100.

Thanks for info.

IMHO, it doesn't matter. Anything will work just fine. Don't worry about price and level of protection as they're unnecessary. Concern yourself only with comfort. I've used standard earplugs and cheap glasses and never had an issue with either.

I've been using the Howard Leight Impact Sports for many years. Very happy with them. I also wear ear plugs with them, particularly when shooting indoors. I would do that with any brand of earmuffs.

I shoot outdoors myself and just shot indoors recently first time in years. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE. Those muffs just aren’t enough inside. The muffs I wore were name brand and my ears were still ringing even though all I shot was .22 and 380. Those cheap foam plugs work great for that use.
