If you buy ammo from walmart they are under pressure from the obama administration to stop selling guns/ammo give them a piece of your mind here [email protected] and let them know you do not support them caving to knee jerk reactions. They have had our back in the past lets keep it that way. Lets make our voice louder then the libs folks.

If they cut all gun sales and remove ammo from there shelves. I will never buy another thing from walmart. Yes i may pay a lot more when i need or want something. But i would rather deal with a business or company that i know supports my rights and american rights

"GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE IT IS SICK PEOPLE WHO KILL PEOPLE WITH GUNS"

send them that in a e-mail.

Well, for what it's worth...walmart was in there along with our NRA representatives. Walmart is a Huuuge 2A supporting company. It's also a plus that they are the world's #1 retailer. I don't see above the law wally world caving. They stood down the Belgian gvt, i think they can put Biden back in his place.

But I emailed them too! And I personally know our wally worlds store manager, and most the department managers. They KNOW how I feel lol. I must be the only one to OC here. Plus, without me, they'd have dust on their ammo shelves.

I'll send an email as well. This is a good thing to spread on other forums.

Has anyone verified that these emails are or will be read by someone?

Here's what I sent them:

I'm just writing to encourage you to continue selling guns and ammunition in your stores. The progressive liberals in this country are in a frenzy to capitalize on the Connecticut tragedy to undermine the 2nd Amendment guaranteed freedoms of American Citizens. I urge you to refuse their requests.

As far as superstores go, I shop at Walmart exclusively BECAUSE they sell guns and ammo. I refuse to shop in a Target store because they don't. They should actually change their logo to something other than a target if they won't sell firearms.

Thank you for your time.

Email sent.

ITCH: Your statement: "GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE IT IS SICK PEOPLE WHO KILL PEOPLE WITH GUNS" is confusing.
Maybe you meant: "GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE. IT IS SICK PEOPLE WITH GUNS, WHO KILL PEOPLE".

I received a response to my email (supporting their practices and general pro-2A stance) from Wal-Mart. It stated a couple things that I find a little disheartening, but I guess until they openly change their philosophy or practices, I will still consider them an ally. Here is their response:

Dear XXXXX,

Thank you for your recent inquiry. Walmart, like the rest of the country, has been engaged in a national dialogue about the responsible sale and regulation of firearms. We have had ongoing conversations with the Administration, Congress, Mayor Bloomberg’s office, sportsmen groups, suppliers and others to listen and share our thoughts and experiences.

Over the years we have been very purposeful about striking the right balance between serving hunters and sportsmen and ensuring that we sell firearms responsibly. In fact, we became a charter member of Mayor Bloomberg’s coalition against illegal guns and adopted the 10-point code established by the Responsible Firearms Retailer Partnership that goes beyond what the law requires. We have also spoken to the Vice President’s office to share our perspective.

We take this issue very seriously and are committed staying engaged in this discussion as the Administration and Congress work toward a consensus on the right path forward.

Sincerely,
Walmart Customer Care

Unfortunately if they cave i still cannot afford to stop shopping there. Several other stores have lost my business because of them caving ie: CTD, Dicks, etc.... But a fella has to eat.
