Ok, I work as a Security Officer, recently been promoted (again) to a "Regional Manager" (we dont use a rank structure, but is equivalent to a Police Watch Commander or Captain) Ive always kept a duty bag with me, and a full duty belt, although I will still be conducting site checks of our Section 8, low income housing areas, I figure I will still keep my duty belt the same, however, Ive always wondered what I should keep in my duty bag, Ive always kept an arrangement of files, although we do mostly electronic reporting, I always end up having to do old fashioned paperwork.
Duty Bag contains:
Caution Tape
Throw away Rain coats
Deodorant
Body spray
1lb FOX 5.3 Stream Fogger
Extra Handcuffs
Stapler
Warmer Gloves
Searching Gloves
Rubber Gloves
Flashlight Charger
Phone Charger
Hardbox Clipboard
Note Pads
Ink Pens
Highlighters
1,2,3 Batteries
550 Cord
Company ID
Business Cards
Complaint Business Cards
Domestic Violence Helpline Cards
Small Flashlight
AAA Batteries
AA Batteries
Power Inverter
Extra 2 Way Radio Batteries
Hand Sanitizer
Any other suggestions? I sometimes feel I have too much, other times I feel I dont have enough...Ive used everything in my bag at least once, and I am always afraid to ditch something, as Ive done it before and regretted it...Any tips from the pros?
