Dutchess county delays on adding pistol to permit?

I've had a Dutchess County Pistol Permit for several years now with one pistol on it. I've got my eyes on another one and was wondering how long it's taking DC to add pistols to an existing permit. A friend did it 2 or 3 years ago and said it was same day turnaround right there in the office, but their website says it requires a judge to sign off on it and can take up to 4 weeks. Has anybody added a pistol to their DC permit recently, and how long did it take?

they say 6 weeks it only took me two.

That's a relief! I decided to get the gun (Ruger LCR, pretty sweet) and went into the pistol office yesterday. The lady told me 4 or more weeks! Two weeks is still too long but I'll take it over 4.

Why did I ever move from VT?!

If you live near pleasant valley you should check out the new gun shop there on 44. Its name it civil armory, they have some nice stuff and pretty fair prices on there stuff.
