Dupont State Forrest

Hello to all... I am a SC resident and I have my permit. I will be coming to Dupont State Park for a hiking trip in a couple of weeks. Does anyone know the carry laws up there?

Well I have a few conflicting links here....

NC STATE bill hb650 made it legal last year to carry into a state park with a CWP
HOWEVER, the rules for the park quote that as illegal...but are 3 years old...

Law regarding a park definition

The state law says

So it is legal to carry by state law... But you can't go into buildings that are state or federally owned.

It appears that the line below appears to allow it.....BUT....
. Properly licensed hunters that meet the requirements of Rule .1233 of this Section, or persons meeting the requirements of the NC Wildlife Resources Commission Rules applicable to Educational State Forests or State Forests, are exempt from this Rule.

States that the law they sight.... 113-22 was repealed in 2011
