Like many of us I read a lot about handguns, rifles, carry techniques, laws etc. and watch the various firearm TV shows. I also like to talk with people both who carry and those who do not. I'm always amazed at some of the dumb things I hear people say.
Just yesterday I was in a local gun shop. The sales clerk started out somewhat ok with "I don't think caliber matters too much, he will go down with a double tap to the chest even with thick clothing". To my amazement he then says "Then when he is down you can take the time to put one in his head". It had to be the dumbest thing I have heard anyone say regarding firearms.
Anyone else have similar experiences?
