Doomsday Preppers on Nat'l Geographic

10-4 I'll b watching also ... I saw the first one it's a good show... I follow several of these folks on YouTube
 
I don't know how anyone watched the first one yet. The premier isn't until Feb 7. Anyway, I think I will be disappointed. The previews look like they went out of their way to find the fringe kooks and wierdo and rednecks to mark preppers as a nut-case class of people. Wait and see I guess.

NatGeo made a one time show about preppers and I believe this series is a spin off of that show. I'll see if I can find the show and post it here.

thanks for chiming in LOL :nono: ...like i said i saw the original that these are spinning off of pretty good show and informative regardless of how they make these folks out to be ...its all perseption and what you yourself believe needs to be done to be prepared :wink:
 
So did anyone see this go-round? I watched the series last year. It kind of made preppers look like nutballs.

The swimming pool terrarium was a bit much. :-)

The show seems to portray them as somewhat crazy. I don't think some prepping is a bad thing necessarily. The people on this show may end up having the last laugh though.

Are you kidding? I live in Hurricane Central. Heck YES! Prepping is a good thing. My world could come to an end any season. We've been preppers (not to the extent the show demonstrates) for many years.

I agree. Everyone needs to be prepared for something. I myself have more prepping to do. Like you said, maybe not to the extent of on the show. I enjoy the show and see nothing wrong in it. It gives me a lot of ideas.

some of them are nutbags...some of them have it pretty together...a few a simply clueless about desperate people in times of sorrow and need.
