Immature people on the internet.
Just had a close friend post a picture on Facebook that his mask making studio burnt down. nice and photo shopped. My wife starts crying because he didn't even post in the comments that it was an April fools joke. even if he did.... still not that funny.

We wasted expensive gas to go check out the studio just to find out it wasn't burned down. So we assumed it was his house studio. Even my wife's best friend called us crying because they both worked there and he had tons of expensive equipment that we all thought he had to take a loss on. the mask makers life is already messed up because he's struggling so hard to take care of his daughters. (one has extremely major breathing issues.) so we take this guy seriously until he pulled that. Now my wife and her best friend are arguing over something mask maker tried to get a laugh out of. GREAT.

I hope no one else is dumb enough to do such a stupid thing to their supposed friends just so they can get a laugh. Now the retard is probably going to have something like that really happen and no one is going to believe him. The boy who cried wolf. I could be a real a-hole back to him and say my wife just blew her brains out or something to that effect, but i treat others how i want to be treated. The golden rule that everyone forgets about. And i don't escalate situations.

Don't get me wrong... little jokes are pretty funny like "look outside, someone just got pulled over!" Or "i got a ticket today for doing 120 in a 45 zone." April fools.. But crying wolf is completely unnecessary and can hurt a lot of people, especially if you post it publicly where all your friends are. Good luck keeping friends that way.

What do you all think? was that completely unnecessary, or do I just take things to seriously? I really didn't find it amusing. And remember i am young and learning from you responsible gun carrying cowboys and girls.

Some people just don't know when they are taking "it" too far. I had a friend like that. But not any more. He took it too far one year (not even April Fools day) and broke the friendship. Too bad for him.

It's nice if your going to post a article like that on the web or on facebook that the last line they read is APRIL FOOLS so it stops there

yeah he has a ton of comments from his family saying "omg!" "is everything ok?" I would kick his *** if i were his dad or mom...... Really Really took it too far with that one. Oh well. i just have to let it go. Jesus will take care of it.always has before. my wife and her friend are ok now... that's what matters to me.. she is happy. I wonder if any of his family drove to his house!!! that's why facebook made the unfriend and block button.

A friend of mine posted, on FB, that he had just taken a job as CTO at a company in Austin, TX (we all live in Orlando,FL). No line about April Fools, although most of us knew that it was (or just had to be). About 20 of us got together for payback. We all started commenting that it was about time we got rid of the SOB, and were happy he was moving so far away. Some of the comments got downright nasty. Then, to really rub it in, we all ignored him on Monday (4/2).
