I'm betting the visitor to this business who was attacked by a loose dog is pretty grateful that one of the employees was exercising his right to carry at work!

"Witnesses say an Akita dog managed to get out of a house behind the auto shop and attacked a 24-year-old man who stopped by the business. A mechanic tried pulling the dog away from the man before another employee shot the dog, killing it."

Akita's can be pretty vicious dogs. Glad to hear that the victim will recover.

any dog can be vicious if its abused/mistreated long enough. even those ankle biter poodles can sometimes act like they've been snorting those 'bath salts' :)

I have two large trained dogs, as stated any dog can attack depending on circumstances, mine will if you enter house trying to overpower wife or family, or if we are not home and you climb posted fence or enter dwelling, that's why I have them. If they were to attack/harm someone without command I would shoot them myself. Wife's dog #3 will lick you to death.
