Does Obama tell the truth

Neither doctrinaire socialism nor unrestricted individualism nor any other ism will bring about the millennium. Collectivism and individualism must be used as supplementary, not as antagonistic, philosophies.

Do you think that answers my question?

We must abandon definitely the "laissez-faire" theory of political economy, and fearlessly champion a system of increased Governmental control, paying no heed to the cries of the worthy people who denounce this as Socialistic.

I give up. I ask you how quoting T. Roosevelt lends any credibilty to your arguments and you answer by...quoting T. Roosevelt...twice. No more wasting of my valuable time on you. Bye.

In order to meet the inevitable increase in the power of corporations produced by modern industrial conditions, it would be necessary to increase in like fashion the activity of the sovereign power which alone could control such corporations.

JJ there are a lot of things in life that are fun but I have found that clicking on the mouse to send some troll to the ignore list is really quite exhilarating. I am beginning to really get a kick out of it.

Actually, HK, here's a new game to play. Don't put 'em on ignore but, of course, don't respond to 'em and then watch and see how long it takes for them to tick off others. Probably won't be too long before all the trolls are just talking to each other. Come to think of it, maybe we should have a "troll forum" where they can all go to hang out together.

But they wouldn't have a fun or get any weird satisfaction from a "troll forum", JJ. Their whole motivation is to hold the forum hostage by being as disruptive as possible.

Well, what we could do is, say, every once in a while, someone volunteers to visit that forum, and post something which riles up the trolls. The trolls would attack like...well, like trolls, I guess. Then, when they're done slobbering and snarling, they'd look around for something/someone else to sink their green, slime-covered teeth into, but, alas, the volunteer has quietly left while the pack was tearing apart the carcass. Maybe, eventuallly, they would turn on each other. Just an entertaining thought, here, as I eat my lunch at my desk.
