Is fourteen enough, wife thinks so

YES.....

Explain to her that money is not safe anymore, banks can fail, but firearms are always valuable.... plus, they could save your life. Also tell her the others are lonely.... Yeh, thats the ticket!

Fourteen is a bad number for relationships. Sure, they could all pair off evenly, but if they want to try three way combinations - someone gets left out.

15 won't work.
16 won't either.
Nor 17.
18 - that could be a stopping point.

Heck, I can already see a specific purpose for my next three. And, I suppose my husband will need some eventually.

I think if you have five different guns to take to the range each month it will stay interesting. So five times twelve is sixty. So sixty is my answer.

You will need at least one of each caliber in the pistol, rifle, and carbine types. Shotguns you need at least a single shot, pump, semi auto, side by side, over and under in each gauge. I always tell my wife that that one has always been in the gun safe. Don't you remember, I got it for you a couple of months ago.

The last time I took my wife shooting, she stole the pistol I had just hunted for almost a yr for....... on the FIRST day I had it....... that just isnt right.... so, I bought some more firearms to make myself feel better..... after 10 or so, I am starting to feel a little better...

That would be traumatizing. I am already preparing for my husband to try stealing my Chiappa... Just because it's a little too bulky for carry under a lot of my clothes doesn't mean he can have it! Bet I can convince him he needs the 4" one instead... This one is MINE.

Hum. 14. For you and your bride, for you or for her? I think three 1911's, all three sizes, each Glock model and gen, a 12, 20, 16, 410 , at the very least 7.62, 5.56 (AR-10, AR-15) and if you are able a Barrett .50 for zombie deer.

Zombie deer... super important to prepare for. Though I'd go a slightly different route with the handguns...
