Sorry to say this but until the law abiding citizens wake up and do something. The Anti-gun people/groups will always try to make it so that the law abiding citizens will not be able to try to defend themselves. I know that your city of Chicago happens to be one of the cities that wants to keep law abiding citizens from being able to defend themselves. Then there is also NY, NJ, LA, CO, and CT that have passed strict gun laws as well. But there are states that don't have strict gun laws. I live in AZ and the state houses have passed bills that would let law abiding citizens with CCW permits to carry in Public buildings, State, and maybe even Federal if there is no security, Metal detectors, or some type of lockers to store guns for people that are carrying them. It has gone to the Governor to either be signed into law or to be vetoed. We here in AZ are still waiting to see what the Governor will do. But WE the People do need to start reminding all of our elected officials know that they work for us and that they need to start doing what we want them to do and not what they think we want them to do or to do whatever they want. And We the People can send that message by voting them out of office if we don't like the job that they are doing. And by voting them out of office it would sent them all the message that they have to do what we want them to do or else they will not be in office long. Just look at the recall of two Reps from CO that were recalled because they not only supported but also voted on the new gun laws that CO passed last year. That was a start and it showed that We the People do and will have a say in things that we feel very strong about. So we all need to get out and vote in the up coming Midterm elections and that way we can start to take back out country.
