After church about 12:30 we are on the way to Harbor tools for a look around before a movie...

On FOX news they had someone that quotes "a reliable White House source" that Obama other than passing 5,798 new rules n regs regarding many things since his reelection.

Obama plans on pushing / passing / executive order to re classify mostly all semi auto guns as a "CLASS 2 WEAPON REQUIRING A FEDERAL TAX STAMP TO OWN," saying further "We know this in not possible but they are claiming almost all semi auto weapons are easily converted to full auto weapons."

He claimed his source was uber reliable....

John Snyder, the "gun rights expert" interviewed in the segment, blew it. He called Obama a "boy." Game over. He will be dismissed as a racist, connected with all conservatives, made out to be typical of all gun owners, while meanwhile, many conservatives and gun owners will accept all the negative tags foisted on Snyder for that one slip of the tongue while Obama and the BATFE move along with the plan he reported unopposed.

We're all Timothy McVeighs, we're all Randy Weavers, we're all David Koreshes, and we're all wild-eyed Jared Loughners, ready to kill at the drop of a hat, white separatists, religious fanatics bent on bringing on Armageddon, when the truth is, we couldn't stop it if we were foolish enough to try.

Treo, in the past I would agree with you but the Supreme Court has made some (at least in my book) some questionable rulings in the past few years. So today I would not depend on the SC for anything. We must on rely on ourselves and put the pressure on our elected reps and Senators, as iffy as that can be. In MN I have two Libs and they will do WHATEVER obummer wants. They are puppets!!!!

He did say boy but not in a racial context; but that won't matter.
 
I agree with vernsimpson, it is going to take a LOT of pressure from all of us to keep our Constitutional Rights. First the 2nd, then the 1st, then the 4th bow to king obama. I think not.

Obama supported Ted Kennedy's bill to ban all semi-auto weapons. He'll do it if he can. And if he gets another supreme court justice pick he'll accomplish it. Thank you, every gun owner who didn't vote. This Bud's for you . In our lifetime we will likely see the end of the second amendment because this country is getting increasingly liberal and increasingly nuts. White is now black. They've turned it all upside-down. A Chicago lifestyle imposed by a corrupt Chicago politician.

You are SOOOOOO right. There were way to many who stayed home. I hope you and I are wrong on this. But I am afraid that those who did not vote or voted for obummer may live to regret what they did on November 6 and all of us will have to live with it.
 
I will not have to live with it because I'm not giving up my firearms. NONE of them.

People need to understand what the govt is and what our role is. The govt is just another corporation called the UNITED STATES and we are simply little corporations unto the big one. Everything is Commerce law/Admiralty law aka codes and statutes. Real law is common law or God's laws. If we would all just realize the scam pulled over on us by a bunch of wealthy elitist bankers and lawyers and learn to just ignore what the govt says and does maybe they will just slowly go away.

I think if we all pull together and cooperate with gun and ammo manufacturers and tell them to ignore whatever BS codes and rules come out of the District of Criminals then we might stand a chance but if we keep playing their game then we all lose our freedom and dignity. If they push we shove if they shove we shoot.
 
If PBO could get away with banning firearms outright, he'd do it... have no doubts. He is smart enough to know he can't go head-on for ALL of our firearms... but he can get away with banning the "evil, black rifles & weapons designed for combat" & the like... There's enough stupid people in America today to let it happen, and the rest of us will suffer the stupidity. Either in submission... or death, makes no difference for 'ole PBO. After all, we're all potential terrorsts anyway.

America is a drastically different nation today than it was 20, 40, 60 or 100 years ago... it's been a slow crawl, but it hasn't stopped. Our forefathers hoped we would learn from their lives, we didn't. They, I think, knew deep down we'd screw it all up... it was just a matter of time. While some of our social progress has been for the better(civil rights & such)... most has spiraled out of control into something much worse.

they want to ban those kind of guns so when they come and take ours with the very guns we are prohibited to own it will make their job disarming us all that much easier
stick to your guns and buy lotsa ammo hopefully belt fed for when they do show up at your doors........best to all

It's sure different today than when I grew up. Fathers bought that first .22 cal for their son around 12 years old. They proudly taught him to be safe and took him shooting with pride. Everyone accepted this as normal. And the kids weren't violent. They didn't go batshit and shoot up the school. There was a sense of community. People were generally friendly and polite. Nobody complained about the town Christmas tree or the school play. We didn't watch men wearing a wedding dress on the fashion channel and Ru Paul would have been stoned. Ahhh the memories. This past Saturday my best friend and I went to get presents for his sons, my Godsons. I bought them airsoft guns. Their father bought his eleven-year-old a Henry Golden Boy .22 cal rifle. His first gun. I know exactly where we'll be on Christmas morning... in the woods right behind the house.

I was raised around firearms, grew up playing GI Joe, pretending to be Dutch from Predator, Col. Matrix from Commando, Robocop and so on... I had my first toy gun at about 4yrs old. I remember I got a Ninja Turtle set when I was 5... my parents never thought the pretend violence was wrong, it's pretend! I knew the difference between pretend and real, however kids today don't... they play Call of Duty all night and expect to do the same thing in real life w/o consequences.

I got my first pellet gun when I was 9yrs old, my first firearm(20ga single break-open) when I was 12... fired my first firearm when I was 10 I think. I haven't turned into a blood thirsty maniac...

It's amazing, and sad at how fast our society has changed for the worse... it's different now than just 10 or 15 years ago. My Daughter is 3yrs old, she held her 1st firearm when she was 2. She knows what guns are, sorta.... Anyway, she knows not to touch them w/o Mommy & Daddy letting her... she knows you only shoot them in safe places like a firing range(she tells me everytime I start to clean one, "Daddy, that's not safe! You only use guns at the range!"), she knows that if she ever tried to handle one of them w/o Mommy or Daddy helping her I'll beat her @ss. Oh, when did spanking kids become so taboo?!

This society sucks...

Serious question: What in the world do you get that a 2 or 3 year old can fire? My daughter is 5 and she has trouble with the trigger on the 10/22. Everything else I have either has way to long of a stock or her hands aren't big enough for the pistols. I also have a 2 year old boy that I want to get started as early as possible.
