i am gonna purchase my first handgun soon. i have been looking at glocks. i am really not sure if the 22 or the 23 would be better for me. i want to CC half the time and OC the other half. i really like the feel of a full framed pistol though. any thoughts????

I love my 23, i cc 100% of the time but the 23 firsts my big hands really well at the range i think it would be the better choice if you consider ccing.

Well you did the right thing deciding on a Glock my friend, I would suggest the 23, it's considered compact, I would really call it mid sized. The full sized 22 will be harder to cc it the hotter weather. Over all the compact size will make you happy, well any Glock will put a grin on your face, simply because it's the greatest handgun in the world! You could always add the 22 to your collection later, being as affordable as they are. I second the motion towards the G23.

I would suggest that you go to your local range and rent both the G22 & G23 before making your decision. I have a G23 and carry it often. It shoots and conceals quite well. That being said, if you are looking to carry concealed the G22 would likely be too big to conceal effectively.

I don't have much to say on your question because I can't shoot Glocks for some reason. But I have to ask a question about the title of the thread:

What on Earth does "delemia" mean?

It's up to you as to how 'concealed' the G22 is over the G23 based on body type and size, and where you carry. As to the grip, both are the same with the G22 being longer. Round count is 15 vs. 13 so you lose 2 rounds with the G23. Barrel is approx 4 1/2" in G22 vs 4" in G23, so there is a bit more accuracy but I consider that a variable based on the shooters ability.
I have both, and for my money the G23 is my preference for carry, and what I normally carry in summer. And my personal experience is that even though both models are close in dimensions, the G22 seems a lot bigger to me.

Here are the specs on the Gen 3 models:

Model Caliber Capacity Length Height Width LenBtwSites Barrel Weight Mag Wt Full Mag Trigger
G22 .40 15 7.32" 5.43" 1.18" 6.49" 4.49" 22.92 oz 2.75 oz ~11.46 oz ~5.5 lbs
G23 .40 13 6.85" 5.00" 1.18" 6.02" 4.02" 21.16 oz 2.46 oz ~9.87 oz ~5.5 lbs

Get the one that fits the best in your hand.

+10 on this comment!! Do you have large hands, small hands, etc. Not to shake up the Glock folks, but I like the Ruger SR40c. It fells great in my hand....somewhere a bit above small and is concealable. Go to you tube a watch some of Hickok45's reviews. He is a Glock guy and did a very favorable review on the Ruger.
Like everyone has said, try and go to a range where you can try different guns...you won't regret being a little patient.
