Sounds like video from right after the shooting, not current story. Medical Examiner: Newtown Shooting Victims Suffered 'Devastating Set of Injuries' - Newtown, CT Patch ME said long gun was used in the shootings of the ones he examined.

More of that video was posted here a few days ago. It shows the removal of the "AR15" from the trunk of Lanza's car later in the evening (after dark). The following post from the linked one is me giving my impressions of it. I think you know enough about AR15s, shotguns etc. NCIC105, to verify that MSNBC's report of the weapon in the trunk was definitely not an AR of any variant, and as S&W645 said, the ME confirmed that all the dead that he examined were killed with .223/5.56 rounds.

It is strange that MSNBC would cut out the helicopter camera footage and keep only the vocal reporting on their website. It's pretty stupid, in fact, because hundreds of occurrences of that video are floating around the interwebs now, some buying into it and being used in furthering conspiracy theories like the one linked above, and some debunking the idiots at MSNBC. Only the latter have any valid claim to an interest in the truth.

I don't put much weight into anything the Lame Stream media reports anymore. Even Fox screwed their reporting up. The official police report isn't even finished yet buzzards like Feinstein are already circling overhead.
