Has any one been across the Canadian border lately? What are the rules about firearms and ammo?
Are we subject to search, what must be declared?

That would be a big NO to bring firearms into Canada.

I travel to Canada all the time. NO handguns at all and hunting rifles only with special permission. And the border crossings can be very tough even without firearms.
