Crossbreed Supertuck or MTAC by Minotaur?

Do any of you have a preference between these 2 hybrid holster manufacturers...Crossbreed Supertuck and the MTAC Minotaur? I am shopping for a good Hybrid holster for my new 4th gen Glock 23 and have kind of narrowed it down to these two brands. Another that I have heard good things about is the Black Mamba by Concealment Solutions.
If anyone has some good advice for this first time purchaser, that would be great! I am somewhat confused with everything I have been reading about these products. They all seem good...but I'm wondering which is best? Thanks for your help.

I just ordered a "Whitehat Maxtuck". for my Glock. It is pretty much the same as Crossbreed but you have the options of using the same holster for different weapons. I spoke with customer service & they were great.

Check out White Hat Holsters. Price range is about the same. Shipping from White Hat was much faster. They are basically the same as the Crossbreed but will allow you to interchange the Kydex portion for different weapon systems for around $20 without having to buy whole new holster. Also White Hat you are able to customize a little more if you like. I own both and prefer the White Hat for my Glock 36. I carry everyday/all day. My normal attire is cargo type shorts with a tshirt and no problems with printing. Hope this helps.

Don't know anything about the Minotaur, but I do have a Crossbreed Supertuck that I like a lot and is my main carry holster for my own Glock 23. It's very comfortable to wear during the hot weather of a Texas Summer when heavy overgarments are really not an option.

I have CrossBreed (horse hide) for my compact 1911 and Minotaur for my M&P. I like the CB better. It stays put better. The Minotaur shifts towards 4-4:30 through the days movements, work, up, down & such. The CrossBreed keeps still. I like it better. You can also purchase interchangeable kydex shells for your different pistols on the Minotaur.
Currently waiting for a CrossBreed cow hide for my Kahr.

I once asked the same question. Opinions were divided. I finally chose the Minotaur MTAC and have been very happy with it. If I needed a new holster tomorrow, I would definitely buy another Minotaur MTAC.

I've had the Crossbreed, Minotaur and Kholsters, I've got an Old Faithful on the way. Honestly they are typically all the same thing. For me the Minotaur took up a little extra room in my belt compared to my Crossbreed or the Kholster. I've also tried (but never bought) the Galco King Tuk.

Here is MY view on the Hybrids

Crossbreed SuperTuck - Quality made comfortable holster, but overpriced, long wait time and I'm not a fan of the advertisement on the clips.
Kholster Crescent - High Quality, Reasonable price, quick delivery. Some people don't like the full top, I've cut a few myself, but they are the most comfortable that way once they break in.
CompTac Minotaur - Good Quality, and you can change what guns it holds, which is a very good feature. I don't like the Kydex clips and it's narrower than the others so it doesn't disperse the weight as well.
Galco KingTuk - Well built but leather is thick is smooth back wouldn't work out well in hot weather.

I'm hoping the Old Faithful I've ordered impresses me as much as I hope it will. I've seen many reviews and everybody seems to be impressed with quality of leather and kydex, plus at $39 how do you beat it? The thing that sold me is the fact the Kydex stands off of the leather on rubber which is supposed to make it flex differently when in your pants. Plus you've got the option of Natural or Dyed leather, Kydex colors and patterns. I'm exicted. But WhiteHat seems to be getting more and more steam as well.

When I've got some $$ to blow, I'd really like to get a Tucker Gunleather "The Answer"

UPDATE: Got the OldFaithful, and VERY Impressed. I'm not 100% on whether It'll replace my Kholster but there the perfect shape and VERY well made! Now I'll just have to break it in and see if it's more comfortable the the Kholster, which won't be easy to beat.

Interesting to see comments by one who has direct experience with several.

If I may ask, what is it about the "The Answer" that appeals to you compared to the others?

I have a Minotaur it works wonders and is very comfortable good think about Minotaur is that u can change out the bodies if u get a different gun or want to carry others. And extra bodies are just $35

I've HEARD it's one of the most comfortable Hybrids there are (allegedly, Tucker created the Hybrids). Although I love my Hybrids I'm a leather junkie. Tucker uses high quality leather, and I love the leather lined Kydex. It's hard to find reviews on, probably because of the price. There beautiful holsters. But not knowing kills me. When it comes to comfort you always gotta follow leads. Like most I've got a drawer of holsters. Many stick with the Guns are supposed to be "Comforting, not Comfortable" crap, not me. I'm always very comfortable while carrying. But you never know if you could do better.

For those not familiar with it

Thanks for all of your feedback regarding these holsters. I'm glad to hear what your feelings are for these holsters that I was contemplating as well as the heads-up on a few that I had not even considered. I'm looking forward to getting one soon so that I can begin to conceal carry and use my 2nd Amendment rights. Thank you again for helping me make a decision.
