Crossbreed holster

Ok so i bought a crossbreed holster for my full sized 1911. I am interested in your opinions but so far my opinion is this is a very comfortable holster.
 
I have a Crossbreed and agree it is an excellent holster. I wore one for about 6 months daily. The company also gives superb customer service. I also have a Kholster which I wear every day because I found it to be even more comfortable than the Crossbreed (my opinion only folks), more surface area of leather against my body I guess makes the difference. It is impossible to compare holsters without a person actually comparing holsters, lol.

Yeh what he said..... I have been wearing one every day for over two years and would use nothing different at this point. This is a great company and a great product. More places should be like this.
 
I just recived my crossbreed holster in the mail earlier today and have worn it most of the day and find it to be very comfortable and easily conceals the firearm. I like the fact I can try it out for 2 weeks and also the fact it has a lifetime warranty. They said it would take 4 to 6 weeks to deliver and they had it to me in 3. I am so pleased with this company I will definitely be ordering more of their products.
 
Crossbreed makes an excellent holster. I owned one with my previous carry weapon ( a S&W 9mm). I ordered a Maxtuck from White Hat Holsters with for my Beretta PX4 Compact and I like it better than my Supertuck. Comfort and quality is about the same but the Maxtuck I can change my Kydex scabbard for another one to carry my second option carry pistol (S&W M&P) in about one minute because it's held on with Chicago screws instead of rivets. Saved me about fifty bucks on a new holster. Took them twelve days to make the holster and get it to me in the mail. I wear it on average fourteen to sixteen hours a day every day and it's super comfortable.
 
Been wearing a Crossbreed for about a year with my 4" XD40. Other than my shape causing a bit of pants droop I wear at the 5 O'clock position. Even with the weight of the XD it is a comfortable wear. I think you'll be happy with the selection.

Another nice aspect is the ability to adjust the cant of holster to match your shape and draw stroke. Something that cannot be done with most belt holsters that I know of. limited exposure here so don't everyone start yelling about all the holsters that can be adjusted! :-)

Which belt clips did you order?

I have to agree totally with this. Every so often I literally (and discretely) brush my elbow against my hip to make sure I remembered to wear my Ruger LC9. When I take the holster off before bedtime, I get a kick out of seeing how it is now curved to the shape of my body. Excellent holster choice.
 
I've been wearing mine for months and am pleased with it. I was having a problem with it working to the rear. My favored position is 3:30. I solved this by putting a V-clip on the forward end of the holster and a piece of velcro on the back side of my belt. This also reduces the visibility of the holster as the forward clip is almost totally hidden and would otherwise be the most likely to be seen.
 
Carry a XD 45 tactical in crossbreed for more than 2 years, usually under an Aloha shirt in hot weather and would not wear any other holster. I'm a big guy 310 lb. and in side the waist band holster can be very uncomfortable for me, no such issue with the crossbreed. My brother was here during the Holidays (he does not carry) and I had him put it on with my unloaded XD 45 - about three hours later he got up to go to bed, I asked him "were you going my my 45?". He didn't even remember he had been sitting in a chair with in for the last 3 hours. Now thats an endorsement.

Just wondering if you knew that Crossbreed makes Velcro clips? That's what I use. I've had my Super Tuck for my CZ RAMI for about 5 years now I guess. Wore it exclusively when carrying the RAMI for the first 4+ years. Replaced it a few months ago with a Packin' Tee shirt holster. It's comparing apples and oranges to comment on the mechanics of using the two systems because the shirt is exclusively cross-draw, but in comparing comfort, just remember the relief you felt from whatever IWB rig you had before and when you went to the Crossbreed, and the same level of improved comfort was realized for me when I went from the Super Tuck to the shirt holster.

Regardless, I love my Crossbreed. I'll still use it during the summer when it's too hot to wear a cover garment.

I highly recommend the Velcro clips for precisely the same reason Caribou related. They conceal much better. I use them in conjunction with a Beltman gun belt with the loop part of the Velcro sewn into the inside.

Neither can I, and I know where they are! Yeah, I know, you can see them a little at the top of the belt, but the whole clip isn't showing like it does with the J-clips, and it stays in place better than with the J-clips.

This is a different weapon and holster combo, but the clips are almost identical to the Crossbreed. You can see how they work anyway.

Thanks for pointing out my error Blues. I actually installed the V-Clip. Oops! Made the correction in my post. As Blues points out they are all but invisible.

I installed the self stick velcro on the back of my belt then wore it for a few days before switching clips. Probably didn't have to but I wanted time for the glue to set before I put any weight on it.

+1 for White Hat holster. I have the Maxtuck and love it. Although Crossbreed seems to have an awesome holster as well. I was debating these 2 and decided on the Maxtuck simply for price, changeable scabbard, and it was at my door in 7 days. Same warranties as far as I can tell. Horsehide combat cut for a total of $81 including shipping.
 
I have been waiting for two Crossbreeds to show up that I ordered the day after Christmas..........I'm kinda like a little kid checking the mail every day. I am using an inexpensive IWB holster that sometimes is not very comfortable.
 
Just got my minituck in tonight for my LC9 and just sitting here in the house with it on trying it out and it is very comfy.....3 weeks to get it....
