CrossBreed and ful sized PX4

Well I got the CrossBreed SuperTuck Deluxe for my full sized Beretta PX4 Storm today.
I'm impressed with how well it's made. Not impressed at all with how it doesn't conceal my PX4. I tried every possible position and adjustment and it still prints really bad, sticks out like a sore thumb or some weird growth. Not that comfortable now that I think about it, the gun's grip pokes me in the ribs when I sit down and it's barrel jabs my hip. Not a good way to spend $70 and 8 weeks of wait time, might send it back, might keep it, I still need to experiment with it a little. Any guys here use the SuperTuck's with full size PX4's, how do you do it, is it even possible to conceal with? Any help would be appreciated.

Are you obese. I weigh 260 pounds and can carry my S&W M&P full size 40 with out detection and very comfortable. I also have one for my $) Shield. I carry at about4 to 4:30 all day long. Best way to carry that Ive tried, and like most I have tried several.

I don't have anything to gain by recommending them but so far the best inside waste-band holster I have tried (I think I've tried about all of them at this point :) ) is the Nate Squared Professional for a G19. Its not cheap but it is more comfortable and much easier to put on and off than the Crossbreed.

If you have an extra thin build or an extra bulky build right at the waste it may be difficult to conceal any largish gun on your waste area.

I have the px4 storm subcompact. I second the Nate tactical holster. I love mine. Try wearing the cross bread at 4-5 I click situation. It should avoid poking in the ribs. I love the Nate tactical. Px4 are an excellent firearm, but are very thick and kinda bulk :/

I'm 6' 3", 290lbs, got myself a nice spare tire too. The PX4 is a beast. I was thinking if I wore a shirt made of stiffer material it wouldn't print so bad. Or I could just use this for my cold weather carry and cover it with a coat. Those Nate Squared holsters look awesome but they don't make one for the PX4. I don't really have the cash for another holster anyways so I'll need to try to make this one work. I also have a Taurus 740 Slim in a DeSantis Sof-Tuck, got no problems with that combo, comfortable and basically invisible.

I carry my XD 9 in a Crossbreed at about 4 o'clock and love it. I wear my shirttail out so there's no printing issue-wouldn't care if there was. My waist is 36 and my jeans are 38 so there's plenty of room for the piece, which BTW weighs 2 1/4 lbs. loaded and still rides like a dream. Mine is black with the combat cut option.

I don't understand how your having a problem with printing. I'm 6'1 and a buck thirty soaking wet. Needless to say its hard for me to conceal a gun well without wearing clothes that are way to big and end up looking like a thug wanna be. I carry my xdm in a crossbreed at 4 o'clock with minimal issues.

Well, mainly it's the PX4's grip that prints. It's long and sticks out no matter what position I wear it. The PX4 is longer and wider than an XD. Still experimenting, trying to find a way to conceal this monster.

Aha, I hadn't taken that into acount. I have a coworker who has a px4 and he uses a shoulder rig. Requires a outer garment but it'll between your arm and body. Hope you find what works.

If it is hitting you in the ribs are you carrying it at 1 or 2 o'clock? I carry at 4 - 5 o'clock all the time and it is very comfortable and doesn't print. Of course I don't wear tight fitting shirts while carrying. In some cases I go up one shirt size to cover.

I tried wearing at all positions, same result. Tried different ride height, cant, different shirts, different pants, belts. I got it low enough to not poke my ribs but it was too low to get a good draw and it still printed very obviously. I'd like to be able to carry the PX4, it's my favorite handgun, but at this point it doesn't look like it's going to happen and I'm really frustrated.

Nate does make them for px4 storm in the original. Plus it fits multiple guns in each size so I can use a few different guns. Well worth $40

My experience has been that larger pistols conceal best when worn at around 3:30-4:00, with a lot of cant, and carried fairly high.
On my 1911 I adjust cant so that the rear of the grip and the barrel align vertically. The cant really helps with long grips.
The edge of the kydex is slightly above the waistband of my pants.

I find this to be very comfortable (and I carry daily from the time I wake until I go to bed).

I'd like to check out one of the Nate holsters, but it looks like you can only order them strait from their website. I'm not going through that again, just to get a holster I might not be able to use. Kerb, the problem is, my PX4 is twice the thickness of a 1911. I think I'm done with trying to conceal the PX4 with an IWB, it's just not gonna happen for me. OWB and Shoulder are probably out too. The size of the PX4 just doesn't lend well to CC. Unless something radically different comes along, the only other thing I can think of is one of those fanny pack holsters, better than nothing I suppose.

Nate holster would be I your door in 4-5 days no problem. I have the subcompact and I feel your pain on the thickness but I can make it work and the only difference is your done is longer. But we both have different body types.

Another holster is a fobus paddle off amazon for the storm $25. Works good for owb

I'm seriously thinking about trying out the N2 holster now that I know they make one for my PX4. I still don't think my spare tire is going to allow me to pull it off. After I return the CB for a refund that is.

Maybe you could had a carry gun to your tool needs?

Well, I do have my Taurus 740 Slim in a DeSantis Sof-Tuck IWB, +1 spare mag, it's now my primary carry piece. The 740 is an awesome CC piece, but it would've been nice to have the 14+1 capacity of the PX4 compared to the 6+1 of the 740.
