What do you all prefer?

I got the OF first, then a CB. I like the OF slightly better, because I can get a better firing grip on my gun (based on the cut of the leather). Also, I like how it has adjustable retention. The only downside to that is, you have to lock-tight your screws, otherwise they will work themselves out.

What do you all like?

I should qualify what I said....I like both of them a lot, and carry both interchangeably. Crossbread has a great holster. However, one day as I was driving I thought about which I liked better, and that is what I came up with.

Cheers,

I have a Crossbreed and a Kirkpatrick, that I really like. The crossbreed is actually my favorite for my commander.
I would like to get a crossbreed or Kirkpatrick for my XDS.

I have only owned one IWB hybrid holster and its the Aliengear holster. It has a 30 day guarantee. It has a lifetime warranty if anything breaks they will replace it. Also if you ever change your carry gun you can send your plastic in and they will send you a plastic to fit your new carry gun for free. Has adjustable tension and the best part is it is half the price of the competitors. The only possible negative i can make up is the the holes that are for adjustable ride height have metal inserts that may cause premature clothing wear due to possible contact but i have not seen any signs of this and don't plan on seeing any. Aliengear website is below.

I have a Crossbreed and a C-Tac. Much prefer the Crossbreed. It's less bulk and thinner then the C-Tac. Carry's my M&P40c comfortably all day.

I was given the OF as a gift from my son in law and as soon as I got the leather broke in I decided there is no way I am going back to any other holster.

only iwb glock 21 experience is OF here. good i guess: i strongly prefer owb. i will say OF was not interested in feedback or constructive comments so i would not buy from them again. beware their canter for a large gun: it is not enough or adjustable enough to hide the grip from printing.

Alien Gear Holsters

Kenny,

Looks like they have a good product. I have one major problem with them, which may affect if I purchase one of their holsters.

I have been to one of Massad Ayoob's classes. He discussed how important it is to be careful about what you wear or use. He said that a prosecutor will rip you to shreds, over something that normal folks wouldn't have an issue with. For example, the Zombie defense ammo. Who would ever carry that? Do you think a reasonable and prudent person would carry something "designed to kill zombies? Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury, when was the last time you encountered a zombie? It is obvious that the defendant was delusional enough to carry a product, as the name says, to kill zombies.....yada yada yada."

Don't say it couldn't happen, and hasn't happened.

If I carried my weapon in a holster made by Alien gear? hmmmm

FWIW
