Cross body carry

I have a couple of CC pistols, j-frame and small semi-automatic. I have probably 1/2 dozen holsters and now I realized I can't hip carry strong arm, I have to carry cross body on the weak side with handle towards the front. Anyone else abandoned the strong side carry? Pros / Cons? I'm seated all day for work and generally can't tolerate strong side carrying.

I haven't abandoned the strong side carry but I will use a shoulder rig if I'm going to be doing long distance driving.
