We have just learned that in Monroe County the NY Senate race is to close to call.
Let us draw your attention to this race in Monroe County for NY Senate District 55. Sean Hanna "A" Rated Republican running against Ted O'Brien "F" rated Democrat.
This race is a dead heat at this point.
Monroe County people: it is up to you and your families and friends to do what you can to prevent this "F" rated Democrat from winning.

If the Republican Majority can not retain its majority, every anti-gun bill ever thought of will pass through to the Governor Desk and the chances of him vetoing anything involving guns is nil.

Every SCOPE member and particularly those in District 55 must spread the word and make sure that your family and friends are fully informed of the importance of this election.
Do What Obama has told his supporters to do.
Get off the couch take off your slippers put your marchin boots on and hit the streets.

We hope that you all are as excited to vote as we are.
We are excited to vote for our children and grand kids because the winner of this Presidential Election will determine the make up of the Supreme Court for a long time.

Remember that the recent Second Amendment Victories were decided by only one vote. If we get one or two more Kagans on the court the Second Amendment will be thrown on the trash heap of history.

Here in New York State we have a chance send a message to the United States Senate by firing Kirsten*Gillibrand. Lets tell Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer, NOT THIS TIME! Visit the SCOPE web site for A Rated opponents.

We can all check the SCOPE web site for our US House of Representatives rating and at least retain the current pro gun majority. Link Removed

The NY Assembly will once again be Sheldon Silvers royal court and there is not much we outside of New York City can do to change that.
The New York Senate is critical.

Vote on Tuesday and get at least 4 or 5 other to vote with you. What gun rights we have left in New York State hang in the balance.
Forward this message to your friends.
Spread the word on the “Social Network” and Forums.
There are people that want New York State to be Number 1 in restrictive Gun Law. They must be stopped, and we can do it.
Imagine if this race is decided by one vote. What can you do to get just one more voter out and about on Tuesday?

CHECK YOUR COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTION WEB SITE FOR A SAMPLE BALLOT AND CORRECT POLLING PLACE.

Hey it will not be long in NY and other states till firearms are illegal all together. It is far more easy to slide down the slope then to climb up it.

Well, here in NY the "voters" have been stuck on stupid for a very long time.
As goes NY City so goes NY State. A State where more people work for the Governments than work in the private field. (Almost),
Can't compete against those odds.
May have to start looking in PA or Vermont.

Government employees #1, don't forget teachers (read : unions) are #2 and both are paid for by the taxpayer.

Look back on the warning nature of my older posts (ie : micro-stamping). I was always told not to worry, the Senate will stop it. Problem with that is the hair-like filament the Republican controlled Senate dangles by. Given the modern day political environment (especially in a liberal infested state like NY), it is only a matter of time until the Dems have complete and total control of everything in this state (from guns to taxes to soda pop).

You're right about moving. My wife and I have pretty much decided to move on ourselves (after 62 years in WNY). Tennessee and Kentucky are on our short list. Mind you, this is not an easy decision. It almost brings tears to my eyes. I have a beautiful place with 130 acres in Catt County. But all the taxes in NY are ridiculous and now a possibility of further erosion of another simple pleasure in our lives (yes, my wife is a gun lover too), guess it's time to get out of Dodge.

You're right, and beautiful land it is (kind of reminds me of around here). My daughter and son-in-law live in Richmond and we really like the area (the politics as well as the geography).

Conservatives have shot themselves in the foot on this one.

First, Cuomo doesn't want a senate control by the democrats. He has been able to get his agenda through by bargaining with the moderate republicans in the senate. A dem senate and assembly would shift the balance of power away from him.

Second, the conservative had kanipshits over those senators who voted to allow gay marriage, causing some loses because of lack of support from conservatives.

We are lucky Grisanti won in WNY despite the attempt by the conservative party to drag him down in flames along with their suicidal candidate.

Sigh, I can't disagree with anything you've stated here. Especially the second and third sentence. Labor (privately) was having $hit-fits with Cuomo over those issues.
