Could Martial Law Be Right Around The Corner For Americans?

Merely a week after military exercises featuring Blackhawk helicopters were flown over the Miami skyline, the Florida Highway Patrol has informed the public that it will set up “vehicle inspection checkpoints” on specific roadways in at least six Florida counties that will be established during daytime hours.

State troopers will be requesting drivers licenses and conducting a visual inspection of every third vehicle once the checkpoint has been established.

So what’s the point of these random vehicle checks of every third car, you may ask? From the Tampa Bay Action News site:

Q: What are “vehicle inspection checkpoints”? Troopers aren’t mechanics, so why are they checking my car?

Eh probably some Drug Cartel info State Troopers and National Guard may have gotten wind of, I highly doubt it means Martial Law.

Could be! It has been my belief that obummer keeps pushing peoples buttons and hoping that somebody will do something stupid. Then impose Martial Law for the "Safety of America!" While this may seem a far out scenario, look at what obummer has done since 2009. How many things has he done that you thought would NEVER happen. You have to remember he learned his political smarts in Chicago.
The DHS is buying 22 million more rounds of ammo. They are buying 10 mil .40 165 grain JHP and 10 mil 9MM 115 grain JHP and 1.6 mil 9MM ball ammo. DHS has said the ammo is for training. My question is, why use JHP in training and on the range? There has been rumors or facts that DHS is hiring a lot of people. Could it be they are gearing up like Hitler did with his Brown Shirts?
I have been against obummer from day one because I have not trusted him one bit. I do not think there is anything he will not do to DESTROY America!!!!!

I'm disturbed with all the joint military/police "training" sessions going on all around the country. In Miami the "training" exercise involved the helicopter gunships firing massive amounts of blanks in the downtown area at night. No one seems willing to explain the purpose of these exercises. Military trains for potential missions, so, what country are they going to be flying around large urban areas with a lot of skyscrapers? Last year they were here in Chicago. That plus the use of drones by civilian authorities should cause any thinking person to have numerous questions.

If you don't think this country could be placed under martial law, then you're not thinking critically. Look around. Open your eyes. Get your head out of the sand. Now is not a time to be lax and lackadaisical. Wake up Patriots, be vigilant!

I try really hard not to be a conspiracy theorist. But at the same time it's awfully hard to overlook certain indicators that cause the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I have deep concerns and suspicions about the true motives of the current administration. Can't decide if President Obama will push for extending term limits or to simply seize dictatorial control. Let's not forget that this administration is now advocating it's right to identify, target and eleminate anyone - US citizens included - who are in the mind of any top ranking official deemed a threat to national security. While this is currently being exercised overseas it would take precious little to begin the same practice domestically. Remember also that everyone who actively opposes this administration and their radical agenda is already identified as a possible terrorist and subsequently a threat to national security. Martial law would be a very effective means of achieving the possible underlying motives of this administration. Just thinking out loud.

if that is what this administration wants they may get the perfect opportunity. If the gun ban fails and Obama tries to go the EO route, then he will get the uprising I believe he wants, and be able to declare martial law.

I remember a few of these "safety check" stops probably 30 years ago here in Michigan. I usually had new cars, and they'd wave me on. But on others, the police would have drivers use their signals, brakes, wipers, lights, etc. If they didn't work, they'd give them a written warning where they had a few days to get the problem corrected. OH, and incidentally, they would invariably find someone half in the bag and charge them with DUI. I believe they stopped these because they were ruled illegal for some reason.
