I am sick and tired of these groups that have the nerve to claim that the Newtown Connecticut massacre never occurred and that it's being made up by the government to take away people's gun rights. This makes us not look good and its bad for those of us whom exercise concealed carry.

while it may or may not have happened the facts have become so convoluted that many people have a hard time buying into the crap/official reports being promoted by a media that is corrupt an controlled by the charlatan who is occupying the white house

What do you mean may not have happened of course it did and the facts are clear not convoluted and the man in the whitehouse is no charlatan, and the whitehouse did not report this story.

I'm not a troll nor a cockroach and as far as what kind of a gun I own, here goes in 1990 when I Started my career in law enforcement I purchased a s&w model 66 357 Magnum in 1992 when my dept switched to the 40 caliber I bought a beretta 92d in 1994 I bought a s&w model 60 5 shot. Years later I purchased a Mossberg 500 12 gauge I also own a 30 30 Winchester and a Winchester 50 caliber muzzleloader , my most recent purchase in January of 2013 is the springfield xds the smallest gun with a rail and I retired in 2010 with 20 years and with two pensions I do not have to work but one of my co workers whom is now a teacher called me about an opening at his school. After the Newtown Connecticut shootings they created the position of schools resource officer and I just completed 1 year at that position oh and I am a licensed Hunter in all disciplines shotgun muzzleloader and bow so I don't know what your trying to make me out to be but you are wrong.

Honestly, I'm quite certain the Sandy Hook shootings happened. Problem I have is with the media, the Progressive Socialists, the pile of sh!t in the White House, and all of his brainless minions taking advantage of the tragedy in order to strip away more of our rights. If you are in law enforcement, you of all people should see it. If not, YOU are part of the problem.

jdmaddog101 i have one question for you? What Kinda firearm do you own?

Problem is, our rights impede the ease with which LEOs get through to the end of their 20 and lifetime pension. Personally, the last people on Earth whom I would expect to "of all people should see it" are LEOs. It's basically their job to test the limits put on them by the Constitution, and in nearly all cases at this point, those limits have failed under LE's ever-encroaching assault.

And really, anyone who can't see that the Obammunist is a charlatan (which itself is being very charitable and overly-civil), cannot be expected to see anything of substance having to do with constitutional rights, whether LEO or not.

No one has of yet tried to take anyone's gun rights and politicians both republicans and democrats are gun owners. Guns are here to stay

They've not only "tried," they've succeeded. "Do you have a carry permit?" for the gun that the supreme law of the land says my right to keep and bear shall not be infringed, is a question that would never be asked in a society that "no one has of yet tried to take anyone's gun rights."

That's exactly why I said the last people on Earth I would ever count on to be concerned with constitutional rights are cops. Your response was as predictable as the sun rising in the East tomorrow morning.

And I can't let go the irony that your opening rant was about "Truther BS" response to the Newtown massacre, but deny vehemently that any assault on gun rights is under way in this country. If what you say is true, how could the following juxtaposing image also be true?

NY, CO and CT all passed highly-restrictive gun laws last year directly in response to Newtown. Everything from magazine capacity restrictions to full-on registration, and you come here claiming no one is even trying to take away gun rights? Did you really think you'd get away with such blatant denial of the truth, that government always works towards controlling access to so-called unalienable rights? You must think everyone is as blind to the truth as you apparently are.

Yes they have, and on numerous occasions, to include outright bans and the repeal of the 2nd amendment.

You were unfairly branded a troll earlier. What you posted wasn't really trolling. But I don't think it would come as a shock to you or anyone else here that the pro or con sides of the firearms rights issue is in most cases drawn along party lines. Yes, there are both democrat and Republican gun owners, but there is far more to gun rights than just simple gun ownership. Attempts to restrict, and yes to ban outright, gun ownership at the federal level, has come exclusively from the democratic side of the equation. That's true mostly for the states too. And in some states there are bans in place for many types of firearms already, so the argument that no one has tried to take away gun rights is lost before you could even start it. Do a little research into some of the more prominent gun control organizations and you'll discover that restriction of rights and bans of firearms are very much their agenda. Rights have indeed been taken, they have made it plainly clear they want to take more, and guns are not at all here to stay if these people get their way. You are misinformed, my friend.

I could go on but the details aren't important, and that's not the topic of this thread anyway. I'm sorry you were treated the way you were just for supporting the current administration. That was technically unfair, though the charlatan remark was really just an opinion. But given that he has voiced support for banning all guns and banning all concealed carry before, did you really expect to find allies by supporting the president here?
