Men who openly carried guns at Culver's accept settlement

Madison police spokesman Joel DeSpain said police still encourage citizens to call if they have concerns about someone armed with a gun, "but depending on the circumstance we might not make contact with an individual."

A legal update for officers by Capt. Vic Wahl indicates that people simply carrying guns cannot be charged with disorderly conduct under the new state concealed carry law.

Really Mr. Wahl? Seems like people simply carrying guns could not be charged with disorderly conduct under the old Wisconsin law, either.

Good for them!

Of course its only a matter of time before the boot lickers start on about "reasonable" actions.

Nice to see and the battle continues. Madison has always been the Liberal armpit of the US with San Fran being the arse.

and that the officers were "baited" by the Madison Five's actions of engaging in lawful behavior and exercising their 4th amendment rights as well as their 2nd amendment rights.

Which would be like saying, "The thieves were lured into their criminal behavior by the nice possessions in the house. Those poor thieves were only doing what they felt they had to do, they're thieves right?"

Wanna take a head count on how many comprehend that at face value and call me an idiot?

Of course I probably just skewed the results.
