congratulations to me

I have the galco waist pack or whatever it's called. It's specifically made for CCW and the draw is pretty dang quick considering what it is.

Pull the draw string with left hand and draw handgun with right hand.

mine is like that too with the quick open pull cord but the unzip makes too much noise i think if i needed to be discreet and still i can draw quicker with a holster but it will do if i have no other carry option in a pinch........
be safe

Same here. I prefer a holster.

Patience

wishing you all the best , some places can send your fingerprints through cyber technology ..i done my the old fashioned way but there are offices that have the equipment to just press your fingers on a pad and it auto sends them to which ever department........if it's just a finger print thing it should be no sweat but perhaps take a lil longer......patience is a virtue......let us know when it's clear and on the way meanwhile practice your firearm skills if you need to ......

We have electronic prints here in MA, but there is no national format state to state. Along with MA, I also have ME, NH and AZ...it's just FL that is the sticking point. Since I'm retired, I get to go to the range frequently; like this morning and probably tomorrow. I'm one of the old "geezers" who hang out at either the pistol or rifle range. Taking my unissued Yugo 24/47 with me tomorrow--can't wait!

Get a good CC, get familiar with it, and stay out of BAD places--best of luck.

I never understood how people can get so excited to carry a gun? Maybe its just me but who gets excited over concealing a weapon. Its almost like if there was zero crime people would still pack just cause its "cool". Its not cool its a tool. If you carry a gun and your at the bar showing it off your a idiot. Theres nothing cool about brining a hammer to the bar why is it xool to bring a gun. Congrats btw and becareful

and it is a big step in my life as well. so yes i'm excited to been granted permission to carry as well take on the responsibility it entails....... as well exicted it taking my life in a new direction and focus on my own personal protection........sorry you seem to have a problem with my 'excitement'

See I told you that it all would be ok ! Cooler heads always prevail.
I'm glad you were able to get those Issue's resolved. Soon you will be able to Legally Carry an, Concealed Weapon.

Once you start Carrying, it changes your life forever. But as a small reminder Carrying an weapon is a great responcibility let alone ever having to use your weapon.

I'm sure you know all of that. Well Congrads on getting everything worked out let us know when it Arrives. Talk soon.

Congrats Eagleeyes, I knew that it would work out for you. Now, get you a good carry weapon or if you have one go and shoot it!

i'm still keeping my fangers crossed for the giveaway this forum is sponsoring.....if not i'm saving to get a similar package on my own.....
i do have an old browning pistol i bought used years ago for home defense but it's kind of big and bulky for conceal carry but it can be concealed if i dress like a bum with oversized clothes and loose large shirts......i've been practicing with it and am finally comfortable handling it but i won't be carrying everyday till i get a better and more concealable set up.....can't wait to do my 'wall mart walk ' heheh
if i get a smaller conceal carry gun i will definitely practice with it good and well before carrying it for sure..thanks blind dog.....
