Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with either of these concealment shirts?

If you have tried or use these give us some idea of how they are.

They work okay. I have the white and black for different occasions. The lining inside the shirt under the padded area can get pretty hot and sticky during the day, I found it more comfortable to wear an under shirt under this under shirt.

The Velcro tabs that close the two sides pockets seem lacking as well. Testing the shirt at home, I had the firearm fall out forward once when I bent over to pick something up off the ground. So long as I knelt down I didn't have that problem. The firearm was also a Jericho 941 which weights about 2000 lbs, so that could of also been the issue as my Sig p238 never budged.

Maybe put some material over the part that gets sticky? So you do still use them? Mine would only carry a Bersa Thunder .380 which weighs about 20 oz. It's a great idea.

I have "Abetterholster" tee shirt. Works fine for what it is, carries my M&P 40 just fine. Basically a shoulder holster so dealing with issues that go with that. Access may be an issue for some depending on what you ware over it.

Also a nice shirt fuhr52 I would wear it under a shirt which has snaps instead of buttons for easier access.

I agree with Fire. It does get a little warm with nothing on under their shirt. I carry my 238 with no problems. I tried my shield and it was just a little too big for me.

Yes I do, but I wear an undershirt under this under shirt to keep the sticky material off my skin.

Replacing the Velcro with snaps would be a good idea if you had a larger firearm. Or even strong magnets would work better...but the Velcro had worked fine for my 238.

Also when I wear a button up over the shirt (which is why I have it ie: tux, suit), I leave the third or fourth button undone (sewn a fake button in the outside) to minimize the time it takes to get into my shirt. And I always keep in mind that situational awareness is priority, followed by running for cover.

I agree with Firefighter, but my question is, if you're already hot, then why wear another shirt underneath? I currently have on the 5.11 holster shirt, and have my LC9 on me. It is comfortable, very convenient and extremely concealable. I don't like the appearance of the "abetterholster", but that's my preference. I also bought the "deep concealment shoulder holster" from activeprogear.com. It's decent, does the job, I just don't like the way the velcro comes together in the front, but it is definiately another option for you to try, and it was somewhat cheap. You would have to wear a t-shirt or atleast an A-shirt or tank top due to the shoulder straps. Good luck in your comfort search!

IMO I hate conceal carry shirts. The shirts have to be very tight (compression fitting) for the gun to stay put and not flop around. That was uncomfortable for me. Secondly, the material has to be very strong to hold a mid to full-size handgun. This makes the shirt unbearably hot in the summer and I live in PA. I can't imagine what it would have been like in the South. Another thing I did not like is that the shirt is designed to be worn under some other clothing. This makes access to your weapon very difficult unless the outside shirt was very large and loose. I have found much better ways to conceal my hardware. To give an idea of my body type in wearing something like this: 6'1", 215lbs, athletic build.

The shirt I bought after doing some research and thinking I got the best shirt for the money was the Undertech Undercover, XL in a crew neck style. I tried carrying a Glock 23, a S&W snubby .38, and a Sig .380. It held all of firearms very well; I just didn't like wearing it.

Trying to find a way to carry a chunk of metal on your body comfortably is a process. Try different things, ask (like you did here) for people's opinions... however when all is said and done, your opinion is going to be the one that really matters though. Good luck with your search.

afterthought.... I also ask, at stores, if I can take holsters and other carrying devices out of the box and try them right there. Most stores have been more than accommodating. Sometimes it requires me to check my weapon, mostly they just require me to unload the weapon.

I bought 1 of these at a gun show ( Kangaroo Carry) and used it for a while then made my own version from 6" ace bandage, some sew on velcro and 2 back pockets from an old pair of jeans.
