concealing a car?

What's the best way to conceal while driving and best way to safely lock your pistol if need to leave in car?

Best? According to whose standards. And what is your criteria? "Best" is pretty broad and means different things to different people. Maybe you'll get some opinions - hope some will be helpful. I can only tell you what I like. I'd say whatever works for you. As for me I keep mine in my holster where it is all the time. If I get out if is right there where I expect it to be. And what does Michigan law require. Where I am I have no restrictions on how to carry in the car so what is best for me is keeping it where it belongs - in my IWB holster.

As far as how to lock it in your car when you have to leave it, I'd say in a safe anchored to something solid. That's what I used to do in my van.

Make sure you abide by your state laws, some are more specific than others. Otherwise, be safe, secure, and comfortable. I use a locked glove box when necessary.

locked in a gun safe--still trying to figure out where to anchor it to....i still want to be able to get to it.

here is a very nice vehicle gun vault i have had one for about a year now i also have in my suv its the Rapid Deployment System ordered it at Link Removed Link Removed

For when you are actually driving, I would look into Gum Creek. They make a holster system that attaches to steering column so the gun is easily accessible to get to while in car.

For times when you have to leave gun in car while you shop or something, I use a simple lock box that has a cable attached to the car seat rails. Very rarely do I leave my gun in the car though, so this is a simple solution for me.

When driving I use the car seat holster does not damage my car goes in really easy and puts my weapon between my legs for easy access if needed. If you want to know how to find them ask and ill let you know

Both of those holster systems would be illegal in SC. Has to be on you or in a compartment in the vehicle here. Too bad, a holster under the dash would be convenient.
