concealed in Kentucky

I'm in Kentucky right now and I hold my indiana concealment license, does anyone know if the ammunition has to be separate from weapon, can I carry it on myself etc.?

Ammunition does not have to be separate from firearm.

Word of advice. Know before you get there and it's to late. http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/kentucky.pdf You're good to carry under you Indiana permit as Kentucky recognizes all other permits.

meyer276, I live in Indiana and go to Kentuncky about every other month (In-Laws), I always carry. I was stopped once by a State LEO, he was very nice. He asked for my drivers license, went to his car, came back and gave my DL back to me and said have a nice day. If you go shopping at the gun shops down there, be aware some of them want you to check your gun at the door. I either carry concealed at those shops or avoid them altogeher. Have fun and enjoy Kentucky, depending on where your going there outdoor ranges around that are fairly reasonable.
