Concealed Carry Withdrawl

The wife and I head out on vacation every year this time for our Anniversary. Well, we will be out of the U.S. and thus unable to carry. This is the most difficult time for me, as I no longer trust my life and the life of my family members to others.

Will have to leave my carry piece with my BIL down in South Florida to hold until we return, and then pick it up, so I have something with me for the drive back up to Central Florida.

I am not happy about this, and will have to figure this into future plans.

Stay safe and have a fun trip wherever you go. We'll be waiting to hear what you did and where you went and all the details!
I love taking vacations vicariously.:pleasantry:

You have more nerve than I....My vacations will all be inside the ole US of A... :fie: But I'm not so sure thats any safer today.

Gonna have to rely on the other training that I have that does not require a handgun.

Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. I will lift you up in prayer also.

You think that's a problem?

"My first priority will be to reinstate the assault weapons ban as soon as I take office. Within 90 days, we will go back after kitchen table dealers, and work to end the gun show and internet sales loopholes. In the first year, I intend to work with Congress on a national no carry law, 1 gun a month purchase limits, and bans on all semi-automatic guns."

I know we are not supposed to add or take away, but I was always fond of:

"He that is in me is greater than he that is defeated in the world"

Thanks for the prayer Achi (Hebrew for Brother)

Hopefully that's all just more lies and BS from a guy who just can't help but roll them off the assembly line by the baker's dozen.

+ multiples on the prayers. I know how it is. My wife is from Canada and everytime we go there to visit the outlaws ( the difference between outlaws and inlaws? outlaws are wanted :p ), I feel so well, unarmed. lol! Last time we were there was in April, and we went for a walk one night. I had such a victem mentality, always looking, untrusting of anyone walking close to us, especially on the side streets. All this in a fairly quiet city. So, my thoughts and prayers are w/ ya buddy!

Withdrawal

I carried for over fifteen years in Arizona before moving to Washington in August. I was naked until November because everyone kept saying I had to reside in Washington for 90 days before I could buy a pistol. The Attorney Genrel's office vindicated me when they interpreted the applicable Washigton law that the dealer had to see my Washington Driver's License or ID card OR proof that i had established residence 90 days previously. They are notifying all the gun dealers in the state that the proper interpretation of the law is: one or the other is required, not both. As I got my Washington DL on August 28th, I should have been able to purchase a pistol on August 29, not have to wait until November. It did me no good, but future buyers will not have to put up with nonsense. Obummer wants to strip the law-abiding citizens of their guns so his 'bros' will have free rein.

Just back from a bussiness trip to Atlantic City, NJ. IT SUCKS being without. Hotel only 3 blocks from Casinos. Nice evening decided to walk back. No problems but head looked like owl. Leg still healing so no chance of being able to run or even walk real fast.

I'm am sure they have enough laws to prevent anyone from carring anything anywhere. I only travel to GFZ's if I have to. Will never take anytype of vacation to one. Will not even shop in one.

How was the vacation? Also, what does BIL mean?

Might want to think about getting a Cold Steel Sharkie or something similar to take with you. It is pretty effective as a kubaton or just a fist pack. It would also be funny to see someone comment about a bada$$ marker =)

I travel quite often.. a lot of it overseas. yes I feel naked without my piece, but I refuse to live in fear if the law says that I can't carry. it makes me appreciate the rights we have here in America so much more.. and makes me want to do whatever I can do to make sure these rights remain our rights. yes I feel for you.. but don't let it ruin your fun.. if you live in fear then they have won. just be careful and stay away from bad areas as much as possible.
