concealed carry while traveling

i am traveling to south Carolina in may and wonder if there is any laws stopping me from carrying my pistol down there. i have my ccw from ohio, and the states in between have reciprocity?

just dont open carry down here. also might want to read up on the SC laws regarding CC. mainly places where you can/cannot carry.

like said already read up on the laws in SC and as long as SC accepts your permit then you will be good. if you are driving and the states you pass through do not recongize your permit the best thing to probably do is have it locked in a case in the trunk and try not to stop unless needed. FOPA protects you while traveling as long as the sate you are coming from and going to accept your gun permit (that is the way i understand it. someone can correct me if i am wrong)

If by chance you encounter a LEO and he ask for id you MUST inform him of ccw and weapon if you are carrying at that time, but reading the laws will cover everything. Have a safe trip.

You've got concealed carry reciprocity in South Carolina and every state in between. Just don't carry in any establishment that serves alcohol for on premise consumption. Safe Journey.
