Concealed Carry Under Attack?

I may have missed this in another thread, did a search and didn't come-up with anything concrete, but here is the question; are the antis going after our semi-automatic concealed carry arms, with CHCL issued by our states?

Are they looking to repeal all concealed carry permits (except their own of course, the epitome of hypocrisy)?

I have a really big stake vested in my concealed rights, and personally won't become a victim if that is on the table as well.

I should probably take a deep breath right now, and wait 'til our warped lawmakers return from their holiday, but I can't keep this nagging thought out of my head.

Mods., please eliminate this if it has already been covered.

I am an NRA member, but cant get their digital version of January's magazine to load past 96 percent on 5 computers at home. I called about it, but the people I need to talk to about it won't be back 'til the 26th, so I had mine changed back to the print version.

Have gone to hundreds of other sites with no issue, no malware, etc., on the machines. Anyone else get the digital version and have this issue?

My opinion. Right now they haven't openly declared war on carry rights or handguns, but it is coming. During the last assault weapon ban there were over 20 school shootings with most being committed with a handgun. If we aren't successful in stopping a new ban, it will take only one after the ban is in place to make handguns the next target. Obamanation has already set the tone with his debate comment that cheap handguns are the problem in Chicago. NY is floating the idea of limiting magazines to 7 rounds. Since most semi manufacturers don't currently have 7 round mags that would make a large number of guns illegal to carry until they can get them to market. It is time to stand united. Enough of the crap of "we'll, they aren't after mine". They are after all of them, period. And people had better start to wake up to that fact!

Let me see. Protect my life and my family the way I see fit or give up everything to a government that is becoming, if not is already, an asylum run by its inmates and closing in on a fascist moslem dictatorship. An easy decision for me. I will have my guns "stolen" before I just give them up.

It's all still up in the air right now. We know without a doubt that "assault weapons" and high capacity mags will be under attack. Feinstein and all the anti gun cronies are going to push her bill like mad and Obama has already said very plainly that he'd support just about any change. So while I don't think the ban is written in stone I think it's very likely to happen.

Then there will be calm for a short time and other shootings will happen with assault rifles that were grandfathered in or semi auto pistols that are still perfectly legal. Then they'll go after those.

They'll push to ban more guns. If they can't make it happen then carry rights will likely be attacked.

Ultimately the anti gunners want us to have no guns at all so they'll go after us on all fronts at some point or another.
