I completed the process for a concealed carry permit in Chesapeake, VA on February 14th and haven't received anything. Is the 45 day rule/law 45 business days or 45 total days? Any advice if I don't receive it soon?
45 days from date of receipt. Probably wouldn't hurt to call. Sometimes they stockpile before they mail. I called on day 45 and my permit was sitting in a drawer since a week after I did my paperwork! Talking about BS!
