Concealed Carry Permit in Chesapeake VA

I completed the process for a concealed carry permit in Chesapeake, VA on February 14th and haven't received anything. Is the 45 day rule/law 45 business days or 45 total days? Any advice if I don't receive it soon?

We did ours at the end of december. We JUST got them last week. Be patient. Big back logs!!!

45 total days. Take your receipt to the clerks office where you filed and have them certify it.

45 days from date of receipt. Probably wouldn't hurt to call. Sometimes they stockpile before they mail. I called on day 45 and my permit was sitting in a drawer since a week after I did my paperwork! Talking about BS!
