concealed carry permit class-Florida

I live in Illinois and took a cc class in Florida last December. Did all the paper work, got my fingerprints done at the sherrifs office, was short on time so I came home and got my picture taken at the local Walgreens. Question? I never sent the papers in to get the permit, can I still do that or do I have a time frame and have to do it all over again. Hard to explain, but I do need your help.

This is printed on the application instructions from FL's website:
"IT IS IMPORTANT that you submit your application and your fingerprint submissions to us in a timely manner in order to avoid additional inconvenience and expense. If we have to request a second fingerprint submission from you and we do not receive that second fingerprint submission within 180 days of your first submission, we will have no alternative but to require you to have your fingerprints scanned again AND to remit an additional fingerprint processing fee." (FYI, that's an additional $42)

My recommendation, if it has been a few months since you got your fingerprints done and your application notarized and you still haven't turned in the paperwork, is that you call the department that handles the paperwork and explain your situation and ask if it would be OK to turn the form in now or to complete another one. Here's the phone number from their website for questions: (850) 245-5691

FL Law according to the pamphlet you were given when taking your class says photographs must be not more than 30 days old. You have 60 days for the fingerprints and no time limit on safety course completion. You can get more complete info at the FL website Link Removed licensesite.com.
