Concealed Carry in PA question?

New member here, friend told me about the site. Have a question?
I got a DUI 8 years ago, first and ONLY offense ever in my 39 years of life. I had a Carry permit before but I let it expire, now I'm getting back into shooting and applied for another concealed carry permit. Does anyone know if this will affect me being able to obtain it? I wen through the ARD program and it was eventually expunged from my record. I have absolutely nothing else on my record, that is my 1 and only blemish.

I'd like to add 1 more thing, I had a "PATCH" state background check done for my sales license, and it came back and said I had "no criminal record"

was it a felony DUI??? A non injury DUI can be considered a misdemeanor.. but not all the time...it is according to the circumstances of property damage.. if you have 3 non felony no injury DUI, the 4th will automatically become a felony and thus No License to carry in Pa.
Hope this helps.. as a 40 year Licensed to carry civilian, I keep on top of this stuff... the 4 th DUI offense is a new law.. rendering the 4th offense a felony.. people who have multiple DUI's should have their car taken away , not so much their gun privileges...
