concealed carry in grocery store with F.D.I.C. bank inside!!

Yup, FDIC is just the insurance agency. You can carry into the bank unless posted or asked not to. I shop at a Marketplace store and OC and CC and sometimes I will cash checks there, never been asked once to disarm.

in addition, for the most part there are NO federal banks, there are the federal reserve banks around the country but 99.99% of you would never have a need to go into one.

I can't speak for Missouri, but I can tell you in Florida -- Banks are NOT on the prohibited places to carry. Heck, a bank is a perfect place where you should carry.

Absolutely.

I've actually had a conversation with a LEO, in a bank, about the weapons we were both carrying. I'm fairly certain that it's not illegal.

Just to help settle this. I work for the FRB and the banks are NOT federal buildings. You can carry in any bank unless posted or prohibited by state law. There is NO federal regulation prohibiting carrying in a bank.

Federal Reserve banks are no more federal than Federal Express. They are actually part of a private international banking syndicate.

says the kook known as ron paul! do yourself a favor, if you see a building marked federal reserve bank and you are armed, don't go in

Saying that an FDIC insured bank is a federal building is the same as saying that Farmer's Insurance owns my house because they carry my homeowners policy. The FDIC is
simply and insurance company owned and backed by the federal government. They do not own the banks they just insure your deposit there, in case the bank is robbed. Most all of the banks and Credit unions are privately owned and operated. I have carried in my credit union and other banks on many occasions because in CO it is legal to do so.
