Hey! I just joined USA Carry, and responded to a FB posting asking about information resources for travelers. I use a guide produced by an attorney and Class III licensed dealer, which can be found at Gunlaws for the 50 States. My question is this-does anyone out there have a suggestion regarding a comfortable yet efficient and practical holster for someone who travels quite a lot for a sales business, hence spends a lot of time in a car, and yet is expected to be dressed appropriately for sales calls; i.e. shirt tucked in, but not necessarily in a suit or jacket due to hot weather. IWB holsters for anything worth carrying are VERY uncomfortable after an hour or so behind the wheel, ankle holsters cannot offer easy deployment when behind the wheel, cross-draws are very hard to conceal without a covering garment, etc., etc. To compound the problem, several Western states in my territory do not allow concealed carry in a vehicle UNLESS the weapon in WORN concealed, negating the possibility of simply putting my piece in the console or glovebox. I don't know how many combinations I've tried, but it's getting expensive to keep trying different sidearms and holsters! Any thought would be appreciated.
