Concealed Carry equipment

I have been looking for a fanny pack to conceal carry my full size ruger when I am out walking any suggesgtions?

My suggestion is you put the Ruger in a fannypack then have one of your buddies try to close the distance on you before you get the gun out.

Then come back and we'll suggest a good holster

SmartCarry is a better compromise, I think. No matter what you choose, make sure you practice. I do 10 or so practice draws every day while I'm learning the SmartCarry.

Edit: It would be helpful for us to know why you've decided on a fanny pack as opposed to a conventional holster system. Are there body size or capability issues that drove you to that decision? Have you researched holsters in general? And a fullsize Ruger...what? SP101? SR40? SR1911? P345?

Have u looked up maxpedition. They have fanny packs with a built in holster. But a good holster would 9.9 times out of ten serve u better.

We don't know what size pistol. I have to agree with Treo. If it is a full size, switch to different pants or holster. Or add another pistol to the collection. Fanny packs are slow at best.

The last place I would carry a firearm is in a fanny pack.

There are WAY too many other options. Please provide gun info and we'll try to help.
