Concealed Carry Comfort for Portly People

Hi everyone. I am new to the concealed carry life and wanted to hear some suggestions on comfortable rigs for those of us who are a bit more rotund. To be blunt, good rigs for fat guys. LOL

I used to be a little on the large side, 5'10" 243 lbs. I found a great holster company that makes almost anything. Concealment Solutions. I carry either a full size M&P or my S&W 1911 ES. Their holsters are extremely comfortable and have a lifetime warranty. Highly recommend them for a holster. Google them and check it out.

I used to try many different carry methods.

Now, it's just a Taurus TCP 380 in the pocket.

I'm 6 ft. 240 lbs. 38 waist with a good spare tire. Currently carrying a bersa 380 cc pocket concealed or ankle carry. As always I'm looking at other pistol and carry combinations. Anyone have experiences with iwb combinations that work great for us fuller framed guys?

I have a Tommy Theis IWB that rides well at the 4 o'clock position. Being 6'4" and 270, I know what you are talking about. I prefer a Model 60 myself. Pocket carry is also a good choice if you use a snubby or campact auto. You can forget the Theis holster is on your belt, it's that comfortable.

Good question. I'm not a big guy 5'6.. 180. And I'm looking for a owb that conceals Like a iwb somethin that holds tight and high so there isn't much if any printing through a t-shirt. Raven phantom looks and sounds good but it's 75$ and takes 45 days to ship. Any suggestions would b great here also. B SAFE everyone

You might check out the comp-tac mtac line I love mine I carry a XDm45c in it. And I have a WildBills Concealment covert carry as well for 2-3 o'clock carry.

I'm 5' 11" 275. I carry a glock 23 in a galco kingtuk kt224b iwb. Very comfortable at 4 oclock. Easily forget it is there, no printing, great holster. I also carry a PPK .380 in a crossbreed iwb. Same comfort and results.

I carry a Glock 30SF in a Comp-Tac Minotaur at 4 o'clock on a good quality gun belt (can't remember the name right now). I wear suspenders under an un-tucked casual shirt. I carry all day, every day and absolutely forget the gun is there. Oh and I am definitely portly (6' @ 270).

I'm 5'8 280 and I carry a fullsize M&P in a N8 squared tactical IWB. It's an amazing holster for the price, be sure to check it out!

I use the Ready Holster medium IWB holster in the small of my back. It holds my hi-point C9 in just the right position; many other holsters held it too high, which was deucedly uncomfortable. The ready holster holds it low, but not so low that I can't readily access it. And it's only $21.99 with shipping included! I am planning on picking up the large version of this holster for my my hi-point full size .40. BTW, I am 6'2" 360 lbs (but really working on bringing that down!).
