You all need to get over yourself. If the "golden rule" is to worry every time your weapon is pointed at someone, IN YOU HOLSTER, might as well leave the gun at home.
You have to pull the trigger on all firearms to make them go bang. I carry pocket guns with no holster and I don't worry. It's a DAO trigger and it's the only thing in that pocket during carry.
Be adults and follow safety guidelines and you'll be fine.
I carry every where so my gun is pointed at someone at some point in the day but I don't panic about it.
Charles I am not 'worrying' or 'panicking'. Would you like to sit in front of me at the movies while my gun is pointed at the back of your head whether its in a holster or not? Can you tell me that 100% without a doubt there is no way that gun could every go off while in the holster? Could you also tell me that if a person was killed just for watching a movie possibly with family you wouldn't give it a second thought? When I looked at the guy in front of me and realized my gun was pointed at his head I thought to come here and ask for everyone's thoughts. Doesnt mean I wont go to the movies again and carry the same way I have been, it means that there might be a better way to do it which in my case will be to not have one in the chamber. That way I have my firearm on me while at the same time knowing that if some 'ghost' or whatever pulls the trigger there will be nothing coming out until I rack one in.
