Conceal carry while playing sports

So obviously not the best idea for all activities, but i am looking for something to carry a compact 9mm (Kel-Tec PF9, to be exact) while doing things like jogging, playing disc golf, etc. Maybe something as active as tennis.

So far I have thought of belly bands and something like the "NRS Total Concealment Holster." I am open to other things as well. I want something I can wear under shorts and t-shirt. I am not a small guy, so something that would work form a subcompact .380 for most people should work.

Any thoughts on what would be best?

thanks,
Max

If you will be sweating a lot, this paints a harder picture on how you will want to conceal. A bellyband is nasty when you sweat a lot. And your firearm will get nice, salty sweaty residue on it. Mmmm, nice for the finish.

An ankle holster might work for you since you are talking a small firearm. However, there are many pocket holsters that would do a good job for you as well. I used to play a lot of tennis... I can't see an ankle holster staying put well... for that matter nor can I see a pocket holster holding up well either... especially if you are one to keep tennis balls in your pocket.

My biggest suggestion is to try a couple of things and see which works best in your situation. Sorry for not being better help.

Are you able to open carry? A thigh rig sounds like it would do the job nicely. Their intended purpose is to be there during rough times.

If you're doing a lot of running around, then the biggest problem would be keeping the gun from moving around. You could probably pull it off while bowling or jogging, but tennis I'm not so sure about.

Remora no-clip, will stay put in sweat suit while jogging, so you might give it a try. Remora . com. I carry a .380 in one occasionally, and it doesn't move... ever. And you can get it with a sweat extension. About $30-35.

What works for me is a neck knife. I just put it on and go. Its not as good as a firearm but a lot better than nothing.
